Late-Night ~Family~

Allison quickly tiptoed down the stairs, her kitten Duchess cradled in her arms. Donned in a black robe, hood drawn, she had hoped to get out of the castle, unnoticed by her brother... or sister, Bellatrix. She was frantic, for a mandatory family reunion had been called, and she and Isaac had to attend, or something terrible awaited them. Allison frowned as she recalled the letter that had greeted her this morning.

Isaac had been sitting on the ground a few floors up, deep in thought. What the hell was he going to do for this family reunion? As far as he was concerned, he was not a Malfoy. He snapped out of his thoughts when he smelled Allison on the air. He walked downstairs until he found her, unaware that he was doing so. "Hey Als," said Isaac.

Allison jumped back, hood falling down. She cursed under her breath, glaring at Isaac. "God damn it Izzy. Don't ever do that to me!" she hissed. Then she couldn't help but frown. "Thinking about the reunion too, huh?" she questioned.

"You know it." said Isaac, grimacing. "I'm trying to figure out how to get out of going. But they say that Mum's changed a lot since Dad got chucked into Azkaban." Hopefully she would come to her senses and divorce the scum-bag, but she was just so oblivious to what Draco did.

Allison stifled a grin. "Well, that's mother for you. Ditzy as usual." she replied calmly, a slight chuckled wrapped in. She finally cracked a grin, but sighed, sitting down on the steps.

"You know it," said Isaac then sat beside his sister, he felt kind of guilty. He and Allison got along well, but Bella seemed to hate his guts. But then again, when Allison was thirteen their relationship had been like that. Maybe it just came with age or something. Isaac sure hoped so.

Allison laid her hand on her brother's back, sensing the worry. "Don't worry Izzy, I think she's going to come around soon. Just be patient and give Bells some space for a while." she replied. Sometimes she wished she was a better sister to her sister, but then again, only time could mend what was happening.
